Diva Darlings and Puppy Pals

Last Tuesday I got to spend the day with some of my favorite Divas in training. They are sooooo adorable together. I can't wait to hang out with Ms. Dillyn and Nicole this summer. Zoo, swimming, shopping...! The girls were crawling EVERYWHERE this time! I only got about a 15 min break the whole day. I was exhausted. There were attempts to eat dog food, make a break, and poop poop poop! You'd think I was watching puppies!

Side note: While at Jerad's parents the other day Sophia actually succeeded in drinking from the dogs' water dish! YUCKO! I also catch her carrying socks in her mouth all the time. Hmmm.....?

I just love snapping pics of these girls!

My First Mommy Day

I'm so behind in my posts, but for journaling purposes I need to write about these memories! We had a beautiful mother's day weekend. The morning started off with good morning kisses and cards from both of my sweethearts! No time for breakfast: 8:30 am church ensures no time for pancakes before. After a beautiful sacrament meeting we headed off to Jerad's mom's for lunch.

Sophia had fun kissing on baby Aubree and playing with Nanny and Grandad.

We then headed over to my Mimi and G-dad's! Sophia was the life of the party; babbling in her alien talk, clapping, and dancing. I'm waiting on pics from my dad so I can finally post a family pick. We haven't taken one since Christmas, and THAT one will never be posted!!!

On Saturday my mom, sister, and g-ma came over to visit. We had fun talking, laughing, and of course enjoying the Sophia show. It really is like this: "I want to come see Sophia today. If your there, that's great too." Babies bring so much joy to everyone. I could not have imagined how much I would love our little Sopapilla would bring to mine and Jerad's life, let alone everyone elses.

I've dreamed about being a mother since I was 16. I've written countless poems to my future children. I know it has been/will be difficult and a windy, bumpy road, but I LOVE it! The joy, laughter, and love are immeasurable! I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family. I want to soak it all up day by day. I am so grateful we can be together forever.

Southlake Art Festival

A few weeks ago we went to the Southlake Art Festival in the square. We usually attend the main street art festival, but couldn't make it because of the rain. We had a wonderful time. Beatiful art, lovely weather, and some good food. Add in family time and it makes for a memorable day!

Sophia love love loved riding on her Daddy's sholder! She was also thouroughly entertained by the water fountain and all the people stopping to say how cute she was.
To end our beautiful outing together, we ate at Snuffer's (one of my fav's)! Sophia loved eating our food at the restaraunt. Is this a diva pose or what? I think she was giving her order to the waiter!

Double Trouble

On Monday Sophia and I traveled to Burleson to take care of Dillyn, my friend Nicole's 6 month old little girl. I thought I would need an ambulance to get me home at the end of the day, but it was actually fun. There was A LOT of eating, playing, jumping, crawling, baby tv, and little napping! Even though I survived and we had fun, I do not see twins in my future.
